Mr. Salad Dressing

Tomato Basil Salad Dressing

• one can of diced tomatoes, drained
• 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
• 2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
• 1 tsp olive oil
• salt and pepper to taste

Tomatoes and fresh basil are a perfect combination.  Adding balsamic vinegar to this salad dressing gives it depth.  You’ll love the freshness of this salad dressing on sliced mushrooms or roasted heads of romaine.

Lemon Mint Salad Dressing

• 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
• freshly-squeezed juice of one lemon
• 1 tsp to 1 tbsp honey
• 1 tsp dijon mustard

Fresh lemon juice and fresh mint go together wonderfully.  Determine how sweet you’d like it by adjusting the amount of honey.

Cilantro Lime Salad Dressing

• 1/2 cup of fresh cilantro leaves
• juice of one lime, freshly squeezed
• 1 tsp to 1 tbsp of honey
• 1 tsp dijon mustard
• salt and pepper to taste

The star of this salad dressing is the fresh cilantro.  The fresh flavor of the cilantro will burst through.  The lime juice helps keep the cilantro bright and green, plus adds to the fresh flavor of the dressing.  For a sweeter salad dressing, add more honey to taste.
